A propos de Air Dolomiti: Air Dolomiti started its operations in 1991 with the aim of develop direct connections in Europe between medium sized-airports with a particular attention to frequency, time and quality of service. Air Dolomiti realised that partners were going to be a fundamental part of any development strategy it intended to undertake. In 1993 it signed a business agreement with Lufthansa: the first step towards a future alliance signed in 1994 and subsequently the entry of the German colossus into the capital of the regional carrier in 1999. In 2003 the young carrier was bought by the Lufthansa group. The Chairman of the new management was Michael Kraus, who took the helm of Air Dolomiti after a long career and several managerial posts in Lufthansa. Air Dolomiti made its mark from the very beginning as an airline business with a most distinctive corporate culture, and was immediately recognised as a reliable, efficient and strongly customer-orientated company. All services are oriented to satisfy the requirements of travellers, and one of its key strong points today is its commitment to provide several daily flights to each destination which guarantee regular and punctual services. Air Dolomiti confirms its importance in Munich as an Italian carrier part of a global network, with several daily flights to and from the main Italian cities. The Company flies to Munich and Frankfurt which are important Star Alliance hubs in Europe. Verona is currently the airline's operational headquarter.
