From our visit to Kilkenny city in County Kilkenny. This was a day trip and we mostly saw Kilkenny Castle, which was very impressive. It has a very long and eventful history. It was a stately home for a very long time - I can't imagine living in a house like this ... !! :-D Unfortunately there's no footage from inside the house; filming wasn't allowed. :-( We also went to see the round tower at St Canice's cathedral - check out the amazing views. ...
