We took the Pilot's Choice Tour from Temsco Air with Chip, a veteran helicopter pilot who has been flying the glaciers for 12 years. After seeing the Mendenhall and Eagle glaciers by air, we stopped on the Herbert glacier, right on the medial moraine.
